The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water,sanitation and hygiene sectors. The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs

The Regional M&E Coordinator will provide strategic and technical support to NRC’s monitoring and evaluation efforts. This includes supporting the implementation of NRC M&E standards, systems and practices to produce, measure and demonstrate improvements in programme performance and inform evidence-based decision making. The Regional M&E Coordinator will assist country programs in increasing the capabilities of staff to implement M&E systems, tool and practices consistently, to improve program quality and impact.
This role reports to the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and has no supervision.

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a Regional Corporate Partnerships Adviser to join the East Africa & Yemen Regional Office in Nairobi. This is an exciting new position in the Regional Office which will be responsible for building NRC’s relationships and collaborations with corporations and business leaders in East Africa, in ways that increase resources allocated to responding to crises, whilst also improving the effectiveness of NRC and its interventions. This includes building relationships with corporates, business leaders, individual philanthropists and private foundations.
This position is based in Nairobi and will work closely with Country Offices in the EA&Y Region, as well as the Corporate Partnerships Section based at Head Office in Olso, to develop and implement the regional corporate partnership strategy, in alignment with global strategy.
This is not your regular humanitarian NGO job, and we are looking for a professional candidate who has experience working in the private sector in marketing, business development, sales, social impact, private sector development or other related field. Our ideal candidate will have highly developed communication skills and strong experience networking and building relationships.
