Job Summary and Key Functions

Labor Economist will Conduct macro-fiscal analysis and determine impact of economic policy on employment, wage bill management; determine strategic policy responses to compensation challenges in the economy;  collect and analyze data related to comparator labor and employment markets; conduct a survey of comparator markets; prepare reports which explain pay trends in the labor markets; analyze the potential impacts of the proposed pay and grading policy options, and existing policies such as legislation, taxes and regulations, etc. in the various labor markets; and prepare various reports on comparative analysis of labor markets and benchmarking of various labor markets.

Key Requirements and Skills

• At least a Master’s Degree in Labor Economics, Economics or relevant field;
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the areas of labor market analysis and conducting labor market surveys used in compensation
