    Self Employed Piano & Voice Teacher -

    Key Qualities Required

    • A fresh innovative approach to inclusive pedagogy.
    • Strong subject knowledge of teaching individual lessons.
    • Strong organisational skills, including experience of information exam entry and record keeping.
    • Good teamwork skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
    • Having a strong sense of duty to those in your care and a problem-solver.
    • Communicate well, both on paper and verbally.
    • Displays a working knowledge of external music certificate, examinations and exam guidelines as well as syllabus requirements.

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Planning, preparation and delivery of individual piano and vocal lessons
    • Recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
    • To communicate effectively with pupils and parents.
    • Preparing pupils for examinations and assisting in the examination entries.
    • Promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils, and groups of pupils.
    • Participating, as required, in meetings at the school that relate to the curriculum or the administration or the organisation of external music exams.
    • Maintaining good order and discipline among the pupils and safeguarding their health and safety both when they are on the School premises and when they are engaged in authorised School activities elsewhere.
    • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.

    Innovation & Digital Strategy Lead

    Summary of responsibilities

    As Innovation & Digital Strategy Lead (Coach), you will:

    • Empower teachers across all subjects and year groups to weave digital tools and approaches seamlessly into their curriculum, enriching learning and engagement.
    • Design and deliver engaging professional learning: from whole-school CPD to personalised coaching and model lessons, that builds digital confidence and capability at every level.
    • Lead innovation projects that explore new tools, platforms, and teaching approaches, evaluating their impact and sharing best practice across the school.
    • Lead the integration of digital learning across the curriculum, ensuring technology enhances, rather than replaces, excellent pedagogy.
    • Collaborate with Peponi Senior School and wider networks to develop shared approaches, exchange expertise, and position Peponi as a leader in digital learning across Kenya and beyond.
    • Work strategically with the Head and SLT to shape the school’s digital vision, advising on the most effective systems, applications, and resources to support learning and operations.
    • Champion a culture of experimentation and collaboration, encouraging staff to take risks, try new ideas, and celebrate success stories in digital teaching and learning
