    Maintenance Manager

    Job summary

    The position is responsible for leading and managing all Plant machinery and equipments maintenance to ensure reliability and flexibility for maximum utilization in production line with safety while maintaining the quality standards

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Developing and implementing maintenance plans for Plant equipment and Machinery
    • Ensuring preventive maintenance by using information provided to guide action
    • Scheduling and ensuring statutory inspections to the required standards
    • Managing and optimizing maintenance of spares Inventory
    • Ensuring machine safety and product quality
    • Developing, training, motivating and evaluating departmental staff to achieve highest levels of performance
    • Indentifying, implementing and benchmarking for best practices in plant and equipment maintenance
    • Plan and oversee all repairs and installation activities.
    • Managing and monitoring expenses and controlling budget for maintenance.
    • Manage relationship with contractors and service providers.
    • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
    • Allocate workload to all maintenance personnel.
    • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
    • Plan and schedule all machine services and overhauls.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum Higher diploma in electrical engineering is requirement
    • Knowledge in plant mechanical engineering will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge in plc controls is an added advantage.
    • Over ten (10) Years’ experience in a busy Manufacturing company three (3) of which MUST be in a management position.

    Chief Accountant

    The key role of the position is to lead the management, reporting, control and optimal utilization of company’s financial resources and assets to meet business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and appropriate reporting standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Leading the development and implementation of the financial strategy to meet business objectives
    • Developing and implementing functional policies, processes and procedures
    • Developing and determining company financial requirements and provide guidelines on deployment including the preparation of company budgets
    • Planning and directing financing needs, working capital, cash and cost management to meet company objectives
    • Co-coordinating the annual auditing process, ensuring implementation of audit recommendations and ensuring effective internal controls
    • Monitoring and ensure compliance with company policies, tax and other statutory requirements
    • Responsible for key performance indicators mainly operating profit, trade receivables, bank borrowings, financial projections, cash flow management, inventory and relationship management with financial institutions and other key stakeholders
    • Managing analysis of revenues / expenditure
    • Developing and providing ad hoc financial information to end users for business decision making
    • Determining and coordinating financial reporting and communication requirements both internally and externally

    Application Requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree in commerce/ Finance  or equivalent is a requirement
    • CPA K qualification or equivalent is a requirement
    • Over eight (8) Years relevant experience three (3) of which MUST be in a management position.
    • A mature person, aged 30 years & above.
    • Ability to handle demanding situations & work with minimum supervision.
    • Person of unquestionable integrity.
