Job Summary

Ensure the compliance and financial steering of Kenya PC and SC KPIs for East Africa.

Supply Chain Controlling

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Steer the SC KPI reporting and review for the East Africa business.
• Lead monthly Inventory adjustments and write off summary, Savings review and asset sale tracking
• Review and monitor the cost booking in the system to ensure correct gross margin and support to ensure no surprises or wrong bookings in costs at quarter-ends.
• Support the bottom-up planning process by working on the landed costs of products by country and SPGR.
• Lead the investment reporting requirements for the ABP and forecasts
• Tracking and review of excise duty payments and ensuring proper records are maintained.

Production Center Controlling

• Planning of PC Statement of Income
• Setup Controlling tools for production center
• Calculation of Inter-Company Prices (ICPs)
• Monthly Reporting (Variance reporting, PC SOI, CIS Investment Reporting, Cash Flow planning)
• Steer internal target process for production (i.e. productivity development, Loss ratio, Downtimes, Service Level) and transfer targets into the ‘standard’ production process
• Steer the costing of new products and relaunches, investment required and requisite approvals.
• Support, challenge local Management Board on PC performance, adherence to SOPs, processes & procedures, i.e. within MM, Procurement
• Setup + install cost accounting, i.e. secure that billing processes are working
• Close monitoring of freight, duty and clearing and proper tracking of variance (actual vs. budget)
• Monitor and ensure inventories provisions are in line with KPIs.

Qualifications And Experience

• Master degree
• Preferably accounting degree (CA/CPA/ACCA)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance out of which minimum of 2 years in PC Controlling
• Multi-national experience is an advantage.
