    Business Development Executive

    Job description

    Your Role

    As Business Development Executive, you will generate leads, advance the sales process, close new business, and achieve opportunity-­based sales quotas. You will also conduct research to identify potential leads and engage with business targets through telephone, email, webinar, and in person.

    What You Will Do

    • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities
    • Build business relationships with current and potential clients, including via cold calling
    • Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
    • Present information to potential clients at meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
    • Coordinate business generation activities and respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
    • Maintain CRM database of client information
    • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support
    • Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
    • Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, and trade shows
    • Close sales and work with the client through the closing process
    • Collaborate with management on sales target setting, planning, and forecasting

    What You Will Bring To KOKO

    • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
    • Experience with lead generation and prospect management
    • Demonstrated sales results
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfort making cold calls and talking to new people all day
    • Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
    • Eagerness to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently and independently under tight deadlines
    • Ability to professionally and confidently communicate with C-level executives
    • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude with the next potential client
    • Strong computer skills, including MS Office or Google Suite and CRM experience preferred
