    Regional Support Team Leader

    Job description

    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

    The Regional Support Team Leader manages a team that provides customer support, master data management and training on logistics information systems within a given region.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides second-level support to JD Edwards software users;
    • Ensures data consistency in JD Edwards software on supported sites;
    • Organizes and provides training for key users and new logisticians;
    • Assists with training and/or post go-live support for newly migrated sites;
    • Manages a team that provides customer support, master data management and training within a given region;
    • Participates in testing of new functionalities and reports releases;
    • Writes and/or updates local procedures and manuals;
    • On request, contributes to the BUILD phase of projects (e.g. contribute to design, participate in test campaigns);

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Holder of a Degree, preferably in supply chain management or equivalent;
    • At least 10 years experience in a similar field with proven records of managing a team;
    • Minimum 3 years experience in first-level user support in Enterprise Resource Planning;
    • Knowledge of JD Edwards software is a major asset;
    • Experience in training people to use information systems is an asset;
    • Advanced Computer Skills (high proficiency in excel);
    • Excellent command of English. French or Spanish is an added advantage;
    • Must be a Kenyan Citizen;
