    Advocacy & Influence Manager

    We Are Looking For

    The ideal candidate is a strategic and dynamic communicator who possesses a strong aptitude for both shaping public narratives and cultivating impactful relationships. You are a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, with a proven ability to translate complex information into compelling messages that resonate across diverse platforms. 

    Your approach is data-informed, allowing you to not only identify key opportunities but also to measure the tangible impact of your efforts. You’ll be an expert at building and maintaining key relationships, whether with external agencies, or internal brands. Adaptable and collaborative, eager to drive L'Oréal's reputation forward by integrating media presence with targeted advocacy and influencer initiatives.

    Here’s what you’ll bring to the table: 

    • Proven experience in media relations, advocacy, or influencer marketing, including external agency management.
    • Track record of developing and executing successful campaigns.
    • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and actionable insights.
    • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.
    • Excellent project management, organizational, and negotiation skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborate seamlessly with various stakeholders and provide proactive support to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Actively involved in exploring the East African culture and is great at spotting trends and the next cool thin

    You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in advocacy, influencer marketing, advocacy, or digital marketing.
    • A passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering exceptional brand experiences.
    • Proficiency with influencer management platforms (e.g., Traackr) and media planning/buying principles.
    • Strategic thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
