    Automotive Service Advisor

    The Service Advisor is the first point of contact between our client and service customers. They maximize sales and profitability through outstanding customer service and conversion of prospects into workshop bookings.

    Responsibilities

    Customer Relations

    • Delight customers and uphold high courtesy standards.
    • Manage service bookings via phone, email, and in person.
    • Joint vehicle inspections with customers.
    • Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines.
    • Communicate repair status and ensure follow-ups.
    • Address service concerns and customer satisfaction.

    Customer Engagement

    • Promote products and services proactively.
    • Handle complaints and ensure resolutions.

    Marketing and Business Development

    • Use service histories to follow up and secure repeat business.
    • Upsell/cross-sell based on customer needs.
    • Promote aftersales campaigns.
    • Convert service quotes to confirmed bookings.

    Administration and Coordination

    • Control workshop entry/exit.
    • Coordinate technician and driver logistics.
    • Update scoreboard in real time.
    • Present replaced parts upon job completion.

    Information & Database Management

    • Initiate and manage job cards and customer records.
    • Prepare and follow-up on repair estimates.
    • Maintain accurate vehicle history files.
    • Share next-day bookings daily.
    • Coordinate warranty documentation.

    Customer Accounts Follow-Up

    • Liaise with Accounts for credit and billing.
    • Ensure completion and invoicing of jobs.
    • Explain invoices and ensure payment collection.
    • Prevent fraudulent payments.

    Other Duties

    • Review daily business targets.
    • Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering
    • 3–5 years in a busy service workshop
    • ICT proficient with strong written communication
    • Proven business generation capability
    • Strong face-to-face and telephone selling skills
