Summary
As Finance Excellence Chapter Lead (FxCL) you will be responsible to lead the newly formed organization of Finance Excellence Partners across Turkey, Africa and Middle East (TAME).
Reporting to the Diagnostics Commercial FM in the country of location, and working across a network of countries, you are instrumental in catalyzing the way we operate into a more efficient, effective, and networked organization that maximizes impact on the business and customer journey. Your experienced role as an architect will be crucial in setting the TAME Chapter up for success.
You collaborate with Diagnostics Commercial Finance colleagues across countries in a networked team to streamline finance operations by simplifying, standardizing and utilizing insights for better decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the transition of affiliate focused finance operations towards a above country-cluster level
Identify and analyze opportunities for efficiency gains, promoting continuous improvement through standardized processes and tasks in order to be brilliant at the basic
Identify and implement best and efficient processes within the relevant cluster
Be the liaison to various stakeholders across the global Roche finance environment (eCoE, RSS).
Collaborate with the eCoE, E-L Insights & E-L Commercial Enablement Chapter to develop and maintain a high-quality, standardized reporting landscape
Drive digitization and digitalization outcomes
Embrace & champion networked ways of working
Participate in squads and cross-chapter teams to address high-priority projects with end-to-end responsibility.
Work closely with Finance Enterprise Partners to enable better customer experience and business impact along the customer journey
Own prioritization and ensure relevance to business needs / strategic priorities for the FxC
The FxCL also brings cross-country Finance Excellence Chapters to life, acting as a catalyst for finance excellence throughout E-L finance.
Ensure adoption of best practice across all E-L clusters to ensure regional consistency together with other cluster leads
Drive the development of the chapter together with the cluster sponsor to ensure continuous growth of impact
Take co-ownership of developing the network of chapter leads across the region
Who You Are
You hold a University degree in relevant discipline required. A postgraduate degree (e.g. MSc or higher) in a relevant area would be desirable.
You built consolidated experience in Finance, and broad Finance knowledge in different fields of Finance. Experience in Centers of Excellence would be considered a plus
You have deep understanding of management and financial accounting, as well as affiliate finance
You demonstrate problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and have a growth mindset
You bring capability and desire to work across affiliates, sub-regions, and regions with an enterprise perspective with an agile mindset; experience navigating and working in networks across geographies, business and roles / self-organised teams
You have advanced analytical skills, including business process improvement expertise. A strong business understanding to drive innovation effectively
