Lead the development of school policy in Music to ensure an interesting, well-planned approach which is consistent throughout the school and addresses continuity and progression
Effective delivery of the MYP & Diploma programs
Use of a range of monitoring and assessment of environment for Music
Create an enabling teaching and learning environment for Music
Organization and management of Music learning resources
Contribution to the development of enrichment and residential experiences for students
Communicate academic concerns to relevant mentor/Head of year
Inspire and motivate students gain a deeper appreciation of Music
The requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Must have an internationally recognized teaching qualification or a BEd /Med.
Professional experience in the music industry
Experience in managing international choir
Shows awareness of the broad principles behind PYP, MYP & DP programmes
