Job Summary: Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy of the Academy. The marketing portfolio manages the positioning of the school’s brand, digital marketing, and its communication with key stakeholders to represent the Academy and attract new students. The requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and Communication or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in marketing and strategic development to effectively promote a brand/product
• Should have experience of leading a team and working collaboratively
• Should have a good knowledge of East African Market and Social Media campaigns
• Background in education sector is desirable but not essential

Duties & Responsibility

• Plan curriculum documents in collaborative manner to reflect the standards and practices of the Academy in PYP and MYP (Year 6 & 7).
• Engage in effective teaching practice that embraces inquiry teaching and learning methods and differentiate activities to meet the needs of all students
• Authentically access, record and track the progress of all students. Such information is to be communicated sensitively, effectively, and honestly with parents and guardians and be used to inform teaching practice
• Communicate necessary programmes information to all stakeholders
• Actively participate in the life of Junior School and the Academy as a whole, in and out of the normal school hours
• Monitor all student’s behavior to ensure the core values, as expressed in the student handbook and discipline policy, are adhered to throughout the school
• Contribution to the development of enrichment and residential experiences for students
• Communicate academic concerns to relevant mentor/Head of year
• Inspire and motivate students gain a deeper appreciation of Art

The requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have an internationally recognized teaching qualification or a BEd /Med.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching PYP & MYP level
• Early Years/Primary experience or training
• Demonstrate ability to create and maintain an atmosphere of high experience for teachers and students.

Duties & Responsibility

• Plan international outreach and delivering of creative element of the CAS program
• Administration of peripatetic music programs
• Play a crucial role in the whole-school strategy and development in relation to Music
• Lead the development of school policy in Music to ensure an interesting, well-planned approach which is consistent throughout the school and addresses continuity and progression
• Effective delivery of the MYP & Diploma programs
• Use of a range of monitoring and assessment of environment for Music
• Create an enabling teaching and learning environment for Music
• Organization and management of Music learning resources
• Contribution to the development of enrichment and residential experiences for students
• Communicate academic concerns to relevant mentor/Head of year
• Inspire and motivate students gain a deeper appreciation of Music

The requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• Must have an internationally recognized teaching qualification or a BEd /Med.
• Professional experience in the music industry
• Experience in managing international choir
• Shows awareness of the broad principles behind PYP, MYP & DP programmes
• High level keyboard/accompanying skills.

Job Summary :  The Executive chef will be responsible for the Culinary Development of new dishes / food products for our international community at the Academy cafeteria and ensuring the quality of food items.

The requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Production or Catering related field
• At least 3 years of experience in preparation of international cuisines
• Should have great culinary skills with ability lead and train a team
• Should have a good knowledge of accounting, stock keeping and portion control.
