Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, and Economics, Entrepreneurship or related field from a recognized University.
Certificate in Supervisory Skills Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution.
Certified Public Accountant CPA (K) holder.
Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Constitution of Kenya 2010, County Government Act of 2012 etc.
Professional knowledge of theory and techniques in a specialized field, or knowledge of a number of fields acquired through tertiary education and/or considerable experience.
Six (6) years’ experience in a related area in a reputable organization.
Job Description
Provide assistance in to coordinate all cooperative audit within the county.
Guide the audit team in compiling final audit reports.
Identify improper accounting or documentation and research issues and make recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.
Coordinate, supervise and provide technical guidance in implementation of planned activities.
Coordinate financial analysis report from all cooperative officers & from each investment.
Consolidate financial reports from all cooperatives and provide appropriate technical advice.
Draw up the audit programs.
Participate in the budgeting process for the section.
