    Re: Consultancy Services - Project Management

    • An exciting consultancy opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager on fixed term basis. We invite qualified persons or consultancy firms (through secondment) to submit their applications.
    • Based in our Nairobi Offices, the Project manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, advising and managing all activities involving the entire Supply Chain: Production, Warehousing & Distribution to ensure seamless transition. This will also entail ensuring all relevant certifications are in place.

    List of Duties.

    • Strategic Advisory
    • Provide expert guidance on the commercial strategy for mergers, acquisitions, and demergers. Financial & Commercial Analysis
    • Analyze business units' commercial performance and potential value pre- and post-merger/demerger. Collaborate with relevant departmental teams to evaluate the commercial impact.
    • Monitor progress and adjust as needed by identifying and mitigating potential risks, bottlenecks, and challenges during project execution.
    • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Manage communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Continuous update of the project Ghant chart and keep stakeholders informed.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports to support strategic decisions.
    • Operational Integration/Separation
    • Develop and oversee implementation plans for integration or separation of commercial functions.
    • Change Management
    • Lead or support change management initiatives tied to the merger/demerger.
    • Support team alignment and organizational restructuring when needed.
    • Establish the resources needed (Human and otherwise) to reach objectives
    • Regulatory and Market Compliance
    • Ensure all commercial aspects of the merger/demerger meet regulatory requirements.

    Applicants should possess the below qualifications;

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field. Master's Degree is preferred.
    • 5+ years proven experience in dealing Supply Chain end to end, preferably production/manufacturing.
    • Prior involvement in at least one full-cycle merger or demerger (end-to-end exposure) is mandatory.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Knowledge of import laws and regulations & govt agencies regulations eg KRA, KEBS, NACADA etc in the manufacturing industry, preferably liquor
