Chogoria hospital is on a side-road that branches off Embu - Meru highway about 2km from the highway. Chogoria hospital was built in a serene environment around 200km north of Nairobi city.     Finance Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in either Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or any other business-related field from a recognized institution.
    • Must be a qualified accountant with relevant professional qualifications CPA-K
    • Member of the institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and in good standing.
    • Must have a minimum work experience of 5 years in a hospital setting preferably in a management position..
    • Robust computer knowledge, extensive exposure to an ERP environment, advanced reporting tools.
    • High level of analytical, performance management skills and attention to detail.

    Biology & Chemistry Teacher

    • Position summary: The teacher will be stationed in Cliver Irvine College of Health Sciences on full time basis and will be tasked in teaching Biology and Chemistry students who have been enrolled for KCSE partial repeat classes.

    Responsibilities of the position:

    • Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
    • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts.
    • Student assessment: Evaluate and assess students’ progress through assignments, quizzes, exams and other forms of assessment.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance and offer additional support when needed.
    • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Individualized support: Provide extra help or tutoring to students who may be struggling with the concepts & identify and address individual learning needs and challenges.
    • Lab management: Ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols.
    • Administrative task: Complete administrative duties, such as record-keeping, attendance tracking, and report card generation.

    Minimum Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelors of Education – Science (Chemistry and Biology option.)
    • Must have a degree from a University recognized in Kenya.
    • Must be registered by the Teachers Service Commission and have a valid TSC no.
    • A minimum of 2 years or more of active teaching experience.
    • Conversance with KNEC examination registration process
    • Excellent reporting, communication and presentation skills.

    Pharmaceutical Technologist (1 Post)

    Job Purpose: Reporting to the Pharmacist, the position holder’s job purpose will be to deliver efficient and timely pharmacy services.

    Job duties and responsibilities:

    • Scrutinize patient treatment sheets and prescriptions for suitability of prescribed drugs in relation to dosing accuracy, drug interaction and route of administration.
    • Provide drug information to patients, doctors, nurses and other medical staff.
    • Timely and accurate posting dispensed drugs for billing purposes.
    • Assist the Pharmacy in-charge in placing orders for stock replenishment to the Pharmacy store to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Participates in regular drug expiry monitoring in the pharmacy to identify and document items with expiry of less than the required.
    • Compounding, re-packing and dilution of drugs according to laid down guidelines.
    • Counsel patients appropriately to ensure adherence to drug therapy.
    • Participate in stock take exercise and ensure timely explanation of stock variances.
    • Training and supervising pharmaceutical technologist interns.
    • Entering prescriptions orders into the computer and making labels appropriately.
    • Assist in preparing and sending periodic management reports.
    • Document adverse drug reactions on patients.
    • Participate in internal and external audits.
    • Receiving drugs and verifying against the stock transfer printout.
    • Shelving of items appropriately.
    • Performing stock counts and stock movement analysis.

    Job Specifications

    • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
    • Current and up to date registration with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board.
    • Keen on detail with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately.
    • Outstanding communication skills.
    • Counselling skills
    • Customer service skills
    • Must be a mature practicing Christian.

    Clinical Psychologist

    • The Successful candidate will be responsible for provision and promotion of Mental Health and well-being, counselling, education and guidance services to clients 

    Minimum Requirement

    • Degree in Counselling and Psychology from a recognized institution
    • Registration by relevant regulatory authority/body
    • Over three years of experience in Mental Health and wellbeing, counselling and testing, preferably in a Level 5 Hospital setting
    • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines.
