    Informatics Partner

    The Position

    • As an Informatics Partner, you build trusted collaborative relationships with our stakeholders including but not limited to business functions, healthcare ecosystem parties, Informatics domains and chapters, and external vendors to deliver strategy and solutions aligning with our Roche ambitions. You serve as the strategic interface for business technology and strategy development topics, risk management and relationship management for the ultimate benefit of patients.

    What you'll be working on
    In this role, you will

    • Partner with our stakeholders, including affiliate and regional senior stakeholders, to drive impactful outcomes by leading and co-creating technology-enabled business strategies that align with our local and regional goals & objectives
    • Apply understanding of external technology trends, long term business strategy co-develop opportunities/strategies
    • Proactively identify business opportunities to architect, design, prototype and collaborate with business and product leads/owners to deliver continually improved products
    • Bring thought leadership to our stakeholders to shape differentiated capabilities and impact for our healthcare ecosystem
    • Lead our stakeholders to synthesize and direct requests to connect-the-dots for our Informatics products
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for issue escalation and collaborate with Product lead/owner to deliver expected project/opportunity outcome
    • Participate in squad, chapter and domain meetings/ceremonies and Collaboration-Pods (C-Pods)
    • Actively contribute to best practice sharing to advance our collective learning and capability building
    • Continually seeks reuse and promote solutions that address common business opportunities to fulfill business needs
    • Ensure end-to-end IT effectiveness by collaborating with Informatics chapters and domains
    • Enable IT Processes in assigned area of responsibility
    • Manage local solutions and be responsible for local IT budget

    You as the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, skills etc,

    • Years of experience: 2+ in stakeholder management, vision and strategy design/implementation, digitalization
    • Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or Informatics (NQF level 7) or similar
    • Ability to work with leadership and product development teams
    • Pharma and digital experience would be an asset
    • Understanding of the external healthcare ecosystem and ability to collaborate with external ecosystem stakeholders
    • Strong business acumen and foundational knowledge in the assigned partnering area.
    • Ability to Role model entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to support the business to make trade-off decisions
    • Leverages internal and external networks to create and maximize value
    • Monitors industry/technology trends and market challenges to identify opportunities and co-create strategic solutions.
    • Approaches collaborations with a customer centric, entrepreneurial and agile mindset to navigate through ambiguity, manage complexity and support the Business to make trade-off decisions.

    Payer and Access Evidence Specialist

    • You as the successful incumbent you will be part of the Healthcare Access Chapter, accountable for delivering evidence enabling the intended market access strategies for the assigned areas and in line with the Africa sub region strategy,

    Key Challenges
    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders and share insights with chapters and networks to inform business strategy
    • Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external payer and policy experts, and contribute to the development of methodologies relevant for payer and policy activities
    • Ensure that all functional activities are strategically aligned with the chapters and networks within the organization

    Healthcare Landscape Assessment

    • Keep up-to-date with changing reimbursement/access landscape and academic research areas to ensure that current methodologies are incorporated into economic models and messages

    Payer and Access Evidence

    • Develop integrated evidence plans to ensure translation of the access strategy into evidence generation. This will include, among others, providing expert HEOR perspectives on study designs, partnering with the Healthcare Access teams and other internal and external stakeholders
    • Facilitate the execution of the evidence plan including leading evidence assessments through literature reviews, developing access publication plans and external value communications and collaborating on real world data studies
    • Draft abstracts, publications and external value communications
    • Work closely with networks to support adaptations of models and analyses for local reimbursement applications
    • Contribute to cross-functional projects within the region

    You, as an ideal candidate, will have the following skills, experience and education:

    • Required Qualification: Degree in Health economics, Economics, Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine or a related field
    • Required Experience: At least five years professional experience working in healthcare consultancy, diagnostics industry, academic institution or relevant industry. Experience working with funders, payers or government reimbursement agencies.Previous experience in using evidence to support market access decision making. Research publications and communications to a scientific audience
    • Other Requirements: Multidisciplinary experience or background in a variety of functions, geographies or healthcare systems within and beyond access is a plus. Ability to travel nationally and internationally
