    Information Security Analyst

    Role Summary: This is an operational role that facilitates the day to day information security tasks necessary for the functioning of the organization. Its customers range from Software Developers, Hub Engineers, Implementation Engineers, Infrastructure team and Service Management.

    These information security tasks aim to enforce / maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of Cellulant’s information by conducting offensive security assessments on Cellulant’s applications and Systems.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Product Testing

    • Develop security requirements and test cases during Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Perform vulnerability and penetration testing on applications
    • Should have intermediate to proficient skill level in Nessus, Burpsuite, checkmarx, nikto, openvas as well as a range of scanning tools
    • Testing using Kali Linux tools
    • Perform code analysis for potential performance issues, usability, and/or anomalies that are related to security, privacy or risk .
    • Follow up with the development teams to ensure identified security issues are addressed prior to deployment on production.
    • Server and Endpoint Vulnerability Assessment
    • Perform periodic vulnerability assessments on Infrastructure
    • Ensure that issues identified are closed before next periodic Vulnerability assessment
    • Be familiar with possible malware or ransomware attack vectors and advise blue team on weak points identified
    • Update and define hardening methodologies as well as advise on patches

    Network Testing

    • Perform vulnerability and penetration testing on network infrastructure using tools such as NESSUS or InsightVM.
    • Ensure that issues identified are closed before next periodic Vulnerability assessment

    Training

    • Carry out focused security trainings and maintain attendance registers. Work with GRC to ensure that weak areas are closed through periodic trainings.
    • Ensure that common vulnerabilities are reduced by active trainings

    Qualifications for the role

    • 2+ years’ experience in Cyber Security, Red Team or Vulnerability Research
    • Bachelor’s degree or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job.
    • Security Certifications e.g. OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, GWAPT, GPEN, GPYC, GAWN, GXPN, or CEH
    • Experience with Vulnerability Management

    Senior Backend Engineer (Cloud Native Applications)

    Job Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer you work in a team that owns the design, development, and operations for major components of the payments and banking integrations

    You should be a distributed systems generalist, able to architect broad systems interactions while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack, and lower-level system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

    Software solutions you build must meet internal quality standards and deliver the business metrics for which it was designed.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design and implementation of scalable distributed systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and other tools in the Cloud Native landscape.
    • Build configuration and deployment assets required to deploy and run the distributed applications.
    • Design microservices and other service elements to fulfill business requirements on assigned projects.
    • Continually evaluate technology changes in the cloud-native landscape and support the team in exploring and implementing solutions that serve the business and team goals.
    • As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems.
    • Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
    • The duties and tasks are varied and complex needing good judgment and informed risk-taking.

    Qualifications for the role

    • 5+ years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available, distributed systems.
    • Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring framework, and experience with scripting languages such as PHP.
    • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
    • Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS) and standard network architecture components such as load balancers.
    • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
    • Experience writing software using automated testing practices such as TDD, unit, and integration tests.
    • Strong command of version control usage with proper Git flow usage
    • Experience working with CI and CD workflows.
    • Deep experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a strong plus.

    Software Engineer (CI/CD)

    Job Summary: The Software Engineer is responsible for the automation of all manual tasks for the building and deployment of both software and data to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment delivery workflows.

    He/she will work with other team members on best practices for developing and maintaining best in class business’s ci/cd pipelines built with industry leading technology.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time necessary
    • Analyse current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
    • Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
    • Carries out research on new use cases, bugs, issues, platform architecture, stack changes in various industry segments.
    • Monitors and analyses product performance, converts data into meaningful business insights and make recommendations to stakeholders for improvisation
    • Work closely with the engineering teams to design, schedule, and deliver in an agile environment.

    Qualifications for the role

    • 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

    Senior QA Engineer – Automation

    Job Summary

    • Oversee and perform manual & Automated testing on all applications from the earliest opportunity and with precision before any application is deployed to production.
    • Communicating all test issues effectively to the QA manager.
    • Managing the daily workload of a Tester and giving direction on projects
    • Participate in the test automation tool selection and adoption process;
    • Develop and execute automated test suites using COTS and custom tools;
    • Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Technical

    • Produce & manage level test plans, estimate effort and resource test plans
    • Monitor changes to scope during the development cycle and re-evaluate plans and resource accordingly
    • Manage expectations of when testing activities will be complete mitigating risks to key milestones
    • Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure key infrastructure (environments, interfaces & access) is set-up to enable all required testing activities
    • Manage the UAT process by supporting clients to establish key scenarios to test their business processes to maximize benefit of the UAT process ensuring full acceptance and integration of the software solution
    • Assign work to QA Engineers and manage successful completion of work to set deadlines
    • Manage processes and procedures locally within the test team and with external teams across the SDLC to drive and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and first-time pass rate
    • Measure, develop and optimize quality of team outputs and performance.
    • Build test scripts from various sources including functional specifications, technical specifications and sessions with developers and designers
    • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual static testing.

    • Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
    • Work with the Development team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test.
    • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
    • To facilitate in-house performance testing ensuring that all key infrastructure, data requirements are met as well as establishing the best tools for the job
    • Identify key components of the system that are suitable for automation and implement approach to deliver benefits through automation
    • Experience with Continuous Integration tool (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.) Experience with GitLab to implement for the CI/CD pipeline Experience with containerization tools

    Results Tracking and Reporting

    • Monitor defects raised by the team and challenge their prioritization supporting to resolution.
    • Manage all issues that impact on the team’s ability to complete testing activities on schedule
    • Create and maintain manual test repositories and regression test packs with a view of constant optimization to improve test estimates
    • Create, maintain, and manage test related documentation

    Management and Supervisory

    • Provide the QA Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
    • Assist the QA Manager in preparing test plans, budgets, and schedules.
    • Take responsibility to ensure all solutions delivered meet the highest quality standards
    • Provide the QA Manager with performance assessments for assigned junior personnel.
    • Participate in tester interviews, including administering interviews for QA Engineers and Test Automation Engineers.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.
    • Understanding of agile software development Understanding of web service integration (e.g.: REST and SOAP XML).
    • Experience with Cloud Technology (e.g.: AWS , GCP, Azure) Experience with NoSQL such as MongoDB Experience with SQL/ Relational Database (eg:PostgreSQL) provided by Dice QA, automation, CI/CD, Devops, testing, JavaScript, selenium, Jenkins, teamcity, Agile software, cloud, NoSQL Familiarity with software packing tools (.exe, .deb, .rpm, Docker…)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good development/scripting skills in common languages like JAVA, Kotlin, Python, Ruby etc.
    • Database skills, mainly in MySQL
    • Good understanding of object-oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc.
