    HR Assistant

    • The HR Assistant will support the HR function by providing day-to-day administrative and operational HR services, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes in line with company policies and Kenyan labor laws.

    Job Description

    • Support recruitment of shop-floor and staff-level employees including shortlisting, interviews, onboarding, and induction
    • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and personnel files for staff
    • Track attendance, shifts, overtime, and leave for factory employees and submit accurate data for payroll processing
    • Support disciplinary processes in line with company policies and labour laws
    • Assist in employee relations matters within a unionized or semi-unionized environment
    • Coordinate medicals, safety inductions, and compliance documentation for staff
    • Support training coordination, including safety, production, and compliance training
    • Ensure adherence to labour laws, workplace safety standards, and internal HR procedures
    • Support implementation of HR policies in alignment with operational needs
    • Liaise with line supervisors and production managers on HR matters
    • Assist with audits, inspections, and HR reports as required

    Job Requirements

    • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
    • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
    • Professional HR certification such as CHRP is an added advantage.
    • General HR experience with exposure to factory workforce management
    • Knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and occupational health & safety practices
    • Experience handling shift systems and overtime administration is an added advantage

    Project Management Consultant (PMC)

    • The Project Management Consultant (PMC) will lead the end-to-end delivery of a commercial office fit-out project in Nairobi, from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning, move-in, and post-occupancy stabilization. The PMC will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements.

    Job Description

    • Project Leadership & Delivery
    • Provide overall leadership across project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
    • Act as the primary client representative throughout the project lifecycle
    • Manage project execution from design review through move-in and close-out
    • Planning & Design Management
    • Review design proposals, bills of quantities, and contractor/consultant submissions
    • Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, master schedule, and cost plan
    • Lead design coordination and manage design freeze milestones
    • Procurement & Contract Management
    • Develop and implement the procurement strategy
    • Support proposal evaluation, contractor selection, and award recommendations
    • Manage consultant and contractor performance against agreed deliverables
    • Construction & Site Supervision
    • Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
    • Monitor progress against schedule and budget, addressing deviations promptly
    • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders
    • Financial & Risk Management
    • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost forecasts
    • Maintain and update the project risk register
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
    • Reporting & Documentation
    • Prepare weekly site and progress reports
    • Submit bi-weekly reports covering schedule, cost, risk, HSE, and critical path
    • Prepare stage-gate reports at key milestones
    • Ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date
    • Handover & Move-In
    • Oversee commissioning, handover, and defect resolution
    • Coordinate installation, move-in readiness, and post-occupancy stabilization
    • Deliver comprehensive project close-out documentation

    Job Requirements

    • 7–10+ years’ experience delivering commercial office fit-out projects as a PMC or Project Manager
    • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
    • Strong experience in office design management, procurement, scheduling, and cost control
    • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder teams
    • Knowledge of Nairobi permitting processes, HSE regulations, and landlord requirements
    • Active professional membership in at least one of the following, ACMK, BCEAK or ICPMK
    • Professional qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
