    Deputy Head Teacher- Ngong Road Campus

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The Deputy Head-Teacher at Ngong Road Campus supervises teaching staff, maintains discipline, and oversees various aspects of school operations to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring a high standard of education.

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • A Minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree (Early Childhood Education) from a recognized University
    • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission
    • Minimum 7 years of teaching experience and continuous teaching experience in the field, minimum 3 years experience as a Deputy Principal/Head of Department/Senior Teacher or in a school leadership role. Strong understanding of the CBC Curriculum.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & VALUES

    • A team player with good command of written and spoken English Good knowledge of Childhood Development.
    • Creative and good teaching/reading abilities. Patient and hands-on with children.
    • Good intra and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledgeable in modern pedagogy and demonstrable teaching practices.

    • Good planning and organization skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

    Sports Teacher Makini School Kisumu

    Job Summary

    • Makini School Kisumu seeks a Sports Teacher to develop physical education programs promoting fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students. The role includes coaching swimming lessons and assisting with creative arts and music.

    Key Qualifications and Experience Required

    • A Minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree (Physical Education) from a recognized University
    • At least 3 years teaching experience from a recognized school
    • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission
    • YMCA Certification, Kenya Swimming Coaches Association or FINA
    • Current lifeguard and first aid certification required.
    • Proficient in swimming strokes - front crawl, back crawl, sidestroke, breaststroke and elementary backstroke.

    Art & Design Teacher

    Description

    • Art and Design Teacher will teach across Ks 1-3 including at IGCSE. Art is a popular subject at IGCSE and successful experience at teaching at this level is a strong requirement. The successful candidate should also be able to actively encourage and facilitate the formation of each student's moral character, unique skills, capacities, and talents through continuous improvement in ensuring quality education.

    Key Qualifications and Experience Required

    • At least three years' demonstrable teaching experience in an International School preferably one delivering Cambridge Assessment International Education.
    • Bachelor of Education degree with specialization in Art and Design from a recognized institution.
    • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
