    Network System Support Engineer

    Brief Description        

    • Job Purpose Statement: The Network System Support Engineer will implement, manage, and support all Kenya Airways networks, communications infrastructure, and network security appliances. This includes the Local Area Network, Datacentres Networks, Wide Area Networks, Wireless Networks, Airports Networks, Data.Center Firewalls, Perimeter Security, Reverse Proxy, PABXs, Unified Communication and Internet Links.
    • The Network System Support Engineer will be the technical lead in all network-related projects ensuring that the implemented solutions meet business objectives.     Detailed Description        

    • Coordinate and supervise the network and communications technicians' team

    Chief Instructor Cabin

    Brief Description        

    • To ensure standardization of safety and emergency training programs and supervision of instructors.

    Detailed Description        

    • Develop training curriculum, syllabi and manuals for all Safety and Emergency training programs.
    • Develop, plan, deliver and co-ordinate relevant training syllabi according to the set training policy and organization requirements.
    • Plan, organize, schedule, and deliver safety and emergency training programs in collaboration with the various functions to enable easy access and full participation.
    • Ensure that all training is conducted as per the KCAA/Company policy and standards.

    The application administrator is responsible for ensuring availability, reliability, security and optimal performance of corporate systems and applications. S/he will achieve this by conducting daily monitoring, maintenance, user administration, backup processes and configuration optimization of the systems.     • Follow-up on resolution of incidents and Requests logged and status.
    • Ensuring investigation and providing support for all end user requests.
    • Monitoring first level resolution of incidents/service requests.
    • Escalating incidents/service requests that cannot be resolved within agreed timescales to the second level Technology support teams and vendors.
    • Communication and update to the Technology Management on major incident resolution progress.
    • Ensure problem-fixing all incidents, requests, and other calls. Provide guidance on the quality of replacement spares and parts.
