    Finance Assistant

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Daily Mpesa reconciliation.
    • Bank and Mpesa payments.
    • Assist in stock taking.
    • Filing of relevant documents.
    • Trade playable/receivable reconciliation

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Assistant Finance Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
    • statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
    • Oversee cash flow management, accounts payable, and receivable to ensure the company's financial stability.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
    • Facilitate internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing recommendations.
    • Design and implement finance policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
    • Support strategic decision-making by preparing detailed financial reports, analyses, and recommendations for senior management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • CPA certification is highly desirable.
    • At least 7 years of experience in finance or accounting with at-least 2years in a leadership or semi-autonomous role.
    • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
    • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
