Job Objective:
The Tax Accountant will support the Group Tax function in ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance across all WIOCC Group companies. The role is responsible for the preparation, filing, reconciliation and payment of tax obligations in line with the WIOCC Group tax checklist.
The position will also support responses to tax queries from internal and external stakeholders, contribute to audits and tax health checks, assist in transfer pricing compliance and monitor developments in tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions. The role will play an important part in managing tax risk while supporting continuous improvement within the Group Tax function.
Reporting Line: Group Tax Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Tax compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all tax obligations for WIOCC Group entities across multiple jurisdictions, in accordance with the Group tax checklist
- Prepare detailed tax schedules to support the processing of monthly tax obligations
- Reconcile tax liabilities with NetSuite prior to payment processing
- Continuously monitor tax authority portals to ensure all tax filings and payments are up to date
Tax Legislation Monitoring and Advisory
- Proactively monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations in jurisdictions where WIOCC Group operates
- Assess, summarise and communicate the potential impact of new or amended tax legislation on Group operations
Tax Accounting and Reporting
- Prepare accurate current and deferred tax computations for monthly and annual financial reporting
- Maintain and update tax-paid reports covering all WIOCC Group companies
Audit Support
- Support the closure of revenue authority audits, external audits and internal audits
- Liaise with external tax consultants and advisors during audits and reviews
- Respond to queries raised by internal and external auditors and ensure timely resolution
- Assist in identifying potential tax risks arising from audits and recommend effective mitigation measures
Tax Planning and Tax Health Checks
- Review business transactions to identify tax implications and advise on tax‑efficient structuring
- Review contracts and agreements to identify potential tax exposures
- Support the execution of tax health checks across WIOCC Group companies
Transfer Pricing
- Support the Group Tax function in maintaining up‑to‑date transfer pricing documentation
- Monitor developments in local and international transfer pricing regulations
- Review intercompany transactions to ensure compliance with applicable transfer pricing requirements
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Group Tax Manager from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA or Chartered Accountant)
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a tax role within a multinational organisation or a reputable tax consulting firm
- Sound technical knowledge across key tax areas, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT and transfer pricing
Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multinational and multicultural environment

Job Objective:
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the accurate accounting and reporting of fixed assets, preparation of high-quality management accounts and statutory financial statements, and the maintenance of strong accounting controls across the WIOCC Group. The role will contribute to informed decision‑making through robust financial analysis while ensuring full compliance with IFRS, IAS, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Reporting Line: Director, Accounting and Tax
Key Responsibilities
Financial Compliance and Governance
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, IAS and Group accounting policies across both local and consolidated reporting
- Coordinate the adoption and implementation of new or amended accounting standards, including assessing their impact on the Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income
- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax requirements across all operating jurisdictions
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and support continuous improvement of financial governance frameworks
Management Accounts and Financial Reporting
- Ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of financial data recorded in the accounting ERP system
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed variance and trend analysis, with clear and insightful explanations for material movements
- Analyse cost of sales performance by comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts.
- Play an active role in month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Coordinate and prepare statutory financial statements for WIOCC Group subsidiaries
Fixed Assets Accounting
- Account for fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, revaluations and impairments in line with IFRS and internal policies
- Calculate, review and post monthly depreciation and amortisation entries
- Reconcile the fixed asset sub‑ledger to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation for management reviews, internal audits, and external audits
- Monitor Capital Work‑in‑Progress (CWIP) to ensure timely and appropriate capitalisation
- Coordinate physical verification of assets and inventory, including asset tagging across jurisdictions
Audit and Assurance
- Act as a key liaison for external auditors, ensuring the provision of complete, accurate and timely information
- Respond to audit queries with well‑reasoned explanations, financial interpretations and corrective action plans where necessary
- Support internal audits and ensure timely implementation of agreed audit recommendations
Accounting Policy Development
- Support the development, documentation and ongoing maintenance of Group accounting policies, manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in embedding consistent accounting practices across the Group
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior management and business unit leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision‑making
- Engage effectively with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators and advisors, as required
Other Duties
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Director, Accounting & Tax from time to time
Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Fully qualified accountant (CPA(K), ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of five (5) years’ post‑qualification experience in a senior accountant or similar role
- Strong, hands‑on knowledge of IFRS and IAS, ideally within a multinational or group reporting environment
- Demonstrated experience in fixed asset accounting and inventory management
- Prior experience in audit or advisory roles within a Big 4 or reputable professional services firm will be a distinct advantage
Technical and Personal Skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
