    Assistant, Fuel Stocks

    Your Role

    • As a stock assistant  in the fuel warehouse operations, you will be required to work closely with the fuel  team leaders and technicians, fuel quality to implement the fuel stocks inventory management system.

    What You Will Do

    • Coordinate with the quality team and our fuel partner (VEK) to ensure stock availability at the stations.
    • Collaborate with operators in the daily stock take of all micro tankers and depots.
    • Provide feedback on technological improvements to make stock inventory more efficient and accurate.
    • Record & analyze all fuel stocks related data and escalate fuel stock related incidents to the field team leader or supervisor for action
    • Keep accurate records of all stock reports and data for easy retrieval 
    • Preparing fuel stock reports
    • Any other work for the company as might be assigned by the line manager.    

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • Undergraduate degree in logistics ,Analytics or a related field from a recognised university
    • Ability to adapt in a highly technological environment 
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office and Google sheets will be an advantage

    Information Security Engineer

    What you will do

    • Work closely with KOKO’s global business units, including product and software engineering, and country based ICT teams to Implement Infosec governance, security controls  and risk management programs adhering to best practices.
    • Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of services by owning aspects of Information security, risk management, technical controls, threat modeling and compliance to infosec policies.
    • Establish safeguards by creating disaster preparedness protocols, conducting preparedness tests, monitoring security tools and leading Incident management activities.
    • Design and develop the information security strategy and own the Information security program.
    • Provide supervisory and leadership support to IT security Officers and In-house SOC Analysts
    • Identify opportunities to improve risk posture, develop solutions for mitigating Infosec risks and processes for assessing the residual risk.
    • Review and improve Infosec controls, policies, standards, processes and frameworks and monitor compliance with the approved policies and procedures.
    • Lead security audits and data protection Initiatives, conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, manage remediation efforts and track the closure of deficiencies. 
    • Provide Infosec related technical support in our software development lifecycle and enforce best practices including code reviews, and automated testing in the DevOps pipelines.
    • Identify, recommend new security architecture plans and designs, implement security controls and deliver or facilitate training for secure software coding practices to software developers.
    • Define Information security blueprints and provide guidance to departments and country based IT Operation teams, in order to standardize KOKO’s enterprise wide security and ensure consistency.
    • Provide Infosec related technical support in our software development lifecycle and enforce best practices including code reviews, and automated testing in the DevOps pipelines. 
    • Manage the ICT Information security budget.

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • University degree in relevant fields like Information Technology, engineering or cyber security 
    • 6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of success
    • Practical understanding of Infosec, risk and compliance standards, frameworks and best practices. A professional certification is an added advantage (e.g CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001)
    • 3+ years of management experience building, leading and mentoring Infosec or technology teams and comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative team environment.
    • General understanding and knowledge of regulatory requirements, security concepts, Information security governance, data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
    • Hands-on leader who is technically savvy and can balance best practice with pragmatism
    • Experience designing and implementing ICT strategy, roadmap, policies, procedures and standards 
    • Experience with cloud platforms (Preferably AWS)
    • Experience with vulnerability mitigation strategies, detection tools, techniques and remediation.
    • Experience with security tools, forensic tools, NAC, Antivirus, File Integrity Management, Intrusion Prevention, Network and Application Firewalls, Web Proxy, SIEM and DLP solutions.
    • Analytical thinker with ability to partner with management, technical team and external stakeholders to resolve complex security matters and develop policies, processes and guidelines.
    • Excellent communicator, detail-oriented with ability to manage shifting and competing priorities.
    • Self driven and strongly motivated with an ownership mindset and a can-do attitude.

    Technician, Deployment

    Your Role

    • As a Deployment technician, you will be responsible for delivery, installation, calibration, and commissioning of network hardware including KOKO Point units in retail outlets across Kisumu and Its environs.

    What you will do

    • Carry out retail outlet inspections (acceptance testing), network hardware installations and test protocols, calibration and commissioning
    • Ensure all deployed network hardware conform to respective quality and regulatory requirements
    • Strong collaboration with Maintenance and Quality departments within Network Operations to optimize and maximize resources
    • Document and own activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records using provided tools. Ensure good work management of provided work orders, instructions and schedules to meet daily targets and maintain high quality outputs
    • Continuously identify needs for improvement by conveying it to line manager and/or engineering team to maintain high quality work standards
    • Maintain assigned tools and equipment in good operating condition by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supply levels and performing regular maintenance
    • Respond to operational tickets escalated to the department and ensure closure per OLAs. 
    • Collaborate with engineering team and share information across on test results and make adjustments where required through provided communication channels and tools
    • Maintain customer satisfaction through professional conduct and engagements
    • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System requirements

    What you will bring to KOKO

    • A Diploma/Bsc degree in Engineering or other technical field.
    • Minimum  1 year field operations experience of installations and commissioning machines
    • Lab and workshop skills - eg soldering, wiring, drilling etc
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills 
    • A team player able to work effectively with others and independently with minimal supervision.
    • Appreciation of ISO 45001:2018 and other related safety standards

    Technician, Network Operations

    Your Role

    • As Network Operations Technician, you will be responsible for installation, calibration, commissioning and maintenance of network hardware that includes KOKO Points, Smart Tankers, and Smart Depot units across Region neighborhoods with a goal of minimizing equipment breakdown through effective implementation of laid out predictive and productive maintenance systems. This role is critical to delivering KOKO’s promise of network quality and uptime to customers.

    What You Will Do

    • Carry out shop outlets technical inspections, installations and test protocols, calibration and commissioning of KOKO Points
    • Ensure all deployed network hardware conform to respective quality and regulatory requirements and adherence to all installation, calibration and maintenance schedules against set metrics
    • Troubleshoot system and hardware errors and resolve technical problems using a structured approach with a view to resolving incidents in a timely manner and prevent recurrence
    • Document and own activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records using provided tools. Ensure good work management of provided work orders, instructions and schedules to meet daily targets and maintain high quality outputs
    •  Continuously identify needs for improvement by conveying it to line manager and/or engineering team to maintain high quality work standards
    •  Maintain assigned tools and equipment in good operating condition by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supply levels and performing regular maintenance
    •  Maintain customer satisfaction through professional conduct and engagements
    •  Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures

    What you will bring to KOKO

    • Diploma/Bsc degree in Engineering or other technical field
    • A minimum of 1 year experience in field operations or a similar technical capacity.
    • Ability to test, troubleshoot, service, and repair electronic equipment
