    Analytics Engineer

    A successful Analytics Engineer is expected to adapt to the fast-paced culture of both the company, the market and the customers we serve.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, create and deploy data ingestion pipelines to feed our Data Warehouse with raw data from various sources using cloud-hosted data ingestion tools
    • Create and maintain processes to transform the raw data into clean and organized Analytics data that can be used by the analysts with tools like Google Dataflow
    • Orchestrate the team’s data processes
    • Be responsible for the Analytics’ data quality and security
    • Implement, develop, and maintain the required Data Analytics and Analytics Engineering tools
    • Implement data governance and data security rules
    • Data Warehouse administration
    • Assist with the data architecture
    • Support the team on technical problems

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

    Technical:

    • 3 years+ of experience building and maintaining ETLs / ELTs, preferably on cloud solutions
    • Advanced SQL
    • Python
    • Deep understanding of modern Data Warehouses technologies and best practices
    • Expertise with the latest data ingestion, transformation and management tools and processes

    The following technical knowledge would be a plus:

    • Google Cloud solutions with a focus on Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Datastream, Dataflow
    • Experience with non-relational DB or Big data
    • Experience with data streaming analytics
    • Git
    • dbt

    Non-technical:

    • Attention to details

    Asset Finance (AF) Recovery Officer

    As an Asset Finance Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for timely identification, recovery, last attempt debt collection, and eventually repossession of assets where the other methods of debt management/loan collection have been exhausted with no positive outcome from the clients.

    A successful Asset Finance Recovery Officer is expected to adapt to the fast-paced culture of the company, the market, and the customers we serve.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring and controlling the assigned Asset Finance Portfolio using Company software
    • In cooperation with other members of the Asset Finance Recovery team, identifying overdue clients who have failed to comply with the contractual payment schedule, and where the telephone follow-up is deemed not effective
    • In cooperation with other members of the Asset Finance Recovery team, prioritizing the collection assignments in accordance with our collection policy
    • Proposing the best client handling and debt collection strategy to the Recovery Team and the Head of Asset Finance Recovery
    • Using GPS tracking technology, identifying the location of the collateral and approaching the client at the field
    • While in the field, identifying and applying the most efficient communication tactic persuading the client to close his overdue and return to payment compliance
    • Repossessing collateral once all previous communicational attempts have failed
    • Maintaining records and providing daily feedback on the outcome of assignments and number of collections to the Head of Asset Recovery
    • Providing training and sharing knowledge with new employees/interns/trainees employed by the Company 

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills including written communication
    • Integrity, enthusiasm, and passion for continuous learning and development
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in an organization with diverse business operations
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, able to effectively deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the Company

    Intern - Collections Officer - Mombasa

    In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures in the different departments. You will focus on learning how our organization runs.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitoring and payment control of assigned portfolio of clients using Company software.
    • Ensuring clients’ adherence to payment schedules through pro-active follow up calls and reminders.
    • In case of clients overdue, identifying and implementing the most efficient debt recovery methods and techniques.
    • Following up on phone calls with overdue clients to ensure debtor’s accounts are up to date.
    • Maintaining records about clients’ financial status, reporting daily to the management.

    • Providing training and sharing knowledge with Interns/Trainees employed by the Company.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the management.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related studies
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
    • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
    • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.
    • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
    • Fluent in English and Swahili.

    Data Analyst
