    Driver

    Responsibilities for the Driver Job

     

    • Responsible for the hospital vehicles.
    • Responsible for transporting persons attached to the project or goods to designated areas.
    • Pick up and transport employees according to requests, appointments or schedules.
    • Responsible for the fleet maintenance and servicing.
    • Report all accidents or incidents as and when they occur.

     

    Driver Job Qualifications

     

    • Minimum KCSE certificate.
    • Possess a valid driving license classes BCE.
    • Minimum two years driving experience.
    • Valid certificate of good conduct.
    • Good knowledge of the Highway Code and other Kenya traffic laws applicable to commercial operations.
    • Ability to work under pressure.

    Field Officer

    Key Responsibilities for the Field Officer Job

     

    • Responsible for implementing assigned project related activities at the community level in Bomachoge-Borabu sub county
    • Support the establishing/strengthening of the community level structures to achieve project targeted health promotion indicators at the community level in collaboration with the project team and the MoH
    • Planning and implementing capacity building/training related activities carried out by the project

     

    Field Officer Job Requirements

     

    • A Diploma/Higher diploma in Social development, community health and development or any other relevant qualification. Experience implementing Maternal,
    • Neonatal and Child Health interventions through community health structures will be an added advantage.
    • Competent knowledge of the use of excel spread sheets, Microsoft word, Access.
    • At least 3 years’ experience working in the field to promote Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health tapping into community resources and linkages
    • Experience in gender, establishing Community Health structures and early child development is an added advantage;
    • Experience of working at the village and first level health care facility in rural settings
    • Demonstrated ability to perform in a large team of field staff

    Project Officer

    Responsibilities for the Project Officer Job

     

    • Assigned clusters of health facilities and population at various levels of health care delivery.
    • Provides assistance and support to the Project Manager, Kisii in delivering and achieving the proposed project activities
    • Implementing field activities with the help of project and field officers for the assigned health facilities in the sub-county of Bomachoge- Borabu.
    • Supervising Field Officers in their respective areas of project activities.

     

    Project Officer Job Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Environmental Health or related health or social fields;
    • Certificate in Project management will be an added advantage
    • At least 3 years working experience in Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health, ideally in a health related NGO.
    • Good knowledge of health data – Community Based Health Information System/Hospital Management Information System and matching experience
    • Experience in gender, establishing Community Health structures and early child development
    • Experience of working at the village and first level health care facility in rural settings
    • Demonstrated ability to perform in a large team of field staff
    • Ability to multi-task and work on tight timelines
    • IT competencies in the relevant packages e.g. Project management
