    Claims Manager

    Claims Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Supervising, appraising, training and development of staff in the department.
    • Monitor and review departmental performance.
    • Manage the Branch Claims coordination.
    • Co-ordinate and maintain expeditious and efficient processing of claims and ensure customer needs are attended to promptly.
    • Analyze claims data to identify issues, and ensure that all relevant issues relating to underwriting policies, re-insurance arrangements, and product pricing are identified and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
    • Set standards for measuring the performance of strategic customer relationship and communication.
    • Ensuring that all claims fall within scope of respective insurance policy.
    • Preparation of weekly claims statistics
    • Identify, appoint and maintain efficient and effective service providers.
    • Preparation of periodical claims report and other management reports relating to claims.

    Qualifications For Claims Manager Job

    • A Business related bachelor degree from a recognized university.
    • ACII or its Equivalent.
    • Computer literacy.
    • 5 years working experience in insurance, 2 of which should have been at management level.
    • Must have served in a busy Motor claims department.
