Enforcement Officer Job Responsibilities

• Patrol and or guarding  of access points;
• Detection of unauthorized persons and vehicles;
• Control of animals and birds from entering premises and or protected areas;
• Protection of County Government properties against theft and destruction;
• Providing security of revenue collectors;
• Providing market security;
• The officer should be able to control crowds, collect information and report on matters of security;
• Enforcement of County Legislation;

Qualifications For Enforcement Officer Job

For appointment to this grade, the applicant must:

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Be in possession of at least KCSE mean grade D- (Minus) or its approved equivalent;
• Be physically fit;
• Have no past criminal records;
• National Youth Training(NYS) will be an added advantage;
• Knowledge of County by-laws. Those who have attended a municipal/County Council; Enforcement Officer’s initial course will be an added advantage;
• Basic knowledge of Kenyan Constitution;
• Work experience of not less than four(4) years in the security and inspectorate section;
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
