Deputy Laundry Manager

Job purpose
- The Deputy Laundry Manager will be responsible to the Laundry Manager for the efficient operations of the unit.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring collection of soiled linen from the user points.
- Overseeing the washing, ironing, pressing, folding and inspection of linen.
- Ensuring effective distribution of clean linen to all the users.
- Participating in the preparation of the expenditure estimates for the unit.
- Staff performance evaluation, supervision, training and development of staff in the unit.
- Participate in the Departmental quality improvement control programmes
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Home Economics/Hospitality or its equivalent.
- Proven experience of at least three (3) years at the level of Senior Laundry Supervisor or equivalent position in a large organisation.
- Computer Literate.
- A valid Certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police.
