    Quality Control Assistant

    Job Scale: BAND 5B
    Basic Salary : Ksh. 32,332
    House Allowance: Ksh. 17,000
    Medical Allowance: Ksh. 6,000
    Risk Allowance: Ksh. 2,500
    Leave Allowance: Equivalent to Basic Salary (Paid yearly)
    Terms of Service: Permanent

    Quality Control Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist dealing with customer feedback and complaints.
    • Assessing and rating suppliers.
    • Designing, reviewing and updating quality control policies.
    • Training new staff.
    • Producing QC reports.
    • Finding and fixing faults at each stage of the production process.
    • Testing samples in the laboratory.
    • Making sure labelling is accurate.
    • Checking that production methods meet legislation guidelines.
    • Inspecting materials for defects.

    Requirements for the Quality Control Assistant Job

    • Diploma in Food Science and Technology/Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • At least one (1) year experience in automated factory processing.
    • A certificate in Computer application.
