    Chemical Engineer

    Basic Salary : Ksh. 25,832
    House Allowance: Ksh. 15,000
    Medical Allowance: Ksh. 5,000
    Risk Allowance: Ksh. 2,000
    Leave Allowance: Equivalent to Basic Salary (Paid yearly)
    Terms of Service: Permanent

    Responsibilities Chemical Engineering Job

    • Develop safety procedures for those working with potentially dangerous chemicals.
    • Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes.
    • Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
    • Design and plan the layout of equipment.
    • Do tests and monitor performance of processes throughout production.
    • Estimate production costs for management.
    • Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
    • Develop processes to separate components of liquids and gases or to generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.
    • Evaluate and estimate production costs for management.
    • Ensure all chemical based material input is of correct specification, quality and concentration.

    Requirements for the Chemical Engineering Job

    • Diploma/certificate in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • At least one (1) year experience in automated factory processing.
    • A certificate in Computer application.
