    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Main Purpose of the Job

    Developing and leading in the formulation and implementation of the Sales & Marketing strategy, policies and processes while leading and influencing Sales Executives to achieve overall business objectives

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Leading, planning and guidance of the sales executives, including setting sales targets for the sales executives, monitoring, appraising and evaluating their performance to ensure they meet and exceed their set targets.
    2. To develop an effective sales itinerary cum route plan that minimizes wastage of resources and time while achieving maximum results to the sales executives.
    3. Reviewing, evaluating and monitoring market research, market intelligence and customer surveys in order to proactively identify and recommend new business opportunities, products and services
    4. Guiding the sales force in mapping out potential clients to introduce and sell company products and services while maintaining regular contact with existing accounts
    5. Arranging for marketing programs and activities such as advertising and representing the organization in branding and promotional activities to enhance company recognition
    6. Establishing social media strategy and presence to build positive business image
    7. Coordinate the team in making the sale and collection of payment by ensuring adherence to the credit period
    8. Develops and ensures the implementation of departmental budgets and monitors the expenditures to achieve profit margins and set targets
    9. To analyze stock movement/availability
    10. Talent management including engagement, coaching, mentoring, developing, motivating, training and evaluating staff to achieve highest levels of performance and culture
    11. Managing and implementing change initiatives to achieve desired business results and culture
    12. Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in management
    13. Preparation and presenting of detailed sales & marketing management reports including recommendations and actions

    Job Skills and Person Competencies

    • Sales & Marketing strategy formulation and Implementation,
    • Problem solving & analytical skills
    • Market Awareness, including Survey tools, data utilization
    • Ability to motivate and lead sales team
    • Interpersonal & Communication skills

    Academic Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field – Preferably Marketing
    • At least 5 years relevant experience
    • Professional Certification will be an added advantage
