                Areas of specialization 

    1. Pediatrics                 2 posts
    2. Pathology                 1 post
    3. Internal Medicine      1 post
    4. Dental Surgery         2 posts
    5. Anesthesiology          1 post
    6. Physiology                1 post

         Qualification requirements

    1. Ph.D degree in any of the specified areas from  recognized Institution
    2. Master’s degree in Medicine or its equivalence in recognized University
    3. At least five (5) years of University teaching three (3) of which as a full time Lecturer  
    4. At least three(3) articles  in refereed  journals since being appointed as Lecturer
    5. Successful supervision of at least three (3)masters students
    6. Evidence of applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as a Lecturer.
    7. Evidence of attendance and contribution at learning  conferences, seminars and  workshops
    8. Registered by Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board and specialist recognition
