    Family Planning Trainer

    Roles for the Family Planning Trainer Job

    • Carry out training needs assessment for service providers in the selected counties
    • Oversee clinical quality assurance support initiatives e.g. training, facilitative supervision, quality monitoring, client experience monitoring etc. to partnering service providers and in the selected MOH facilities to ensure delivery of quality Family Planning services
    • Recommend and oversee implementation of Quality Improvement plans
    • Ensure that all quality assurance and improvement structures, processes, and outcomes are effective
    • Participate in the programme?s MNCH Technical Working Group meetings.

    Family Planning Trainer Job Requirements

    • At least a Master's degree in Reproductive Health, Public Health, or Health Systems Strengthening with previous FP service delivery experience
    • A thorough understanding of the Kenyan National FP Guidelines.
    • Expertise of sexual and reproductive health issues with particular emphasis on high-quality family planning service delivery in Kenya
    • Expertise on clinical Quality Assurance processes, especially for FP.
    • At least 8 years? experience in Quality Assurance policy development and implementation.
    • At least 8 years? experience in setting clinical standards for quality in various settings.
    • At least 8 years in monitoring and evaluation of the quality of health services in a variety of settings.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and accountably.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to write high quality written documents in plain and clear English is vital
