a) Duties and Responsibilities:
This is the entry and training grade for the Cadre. Work at this level will be carried out under close supervision and guidance of a more senior officer and will be subject to regular checks and verification. Officers at this level will be deployed in the Hospital Emergency Units and shall be deployed in the Ambulance Daily Operations under the supervision of a Registered Accident & Emergency Nurse/
Clinical Officer.
b) Requirements for Appointment:
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must be in possession of:
(ii).Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C Plain or its approved equivalent;
(iii). Those with a certificate in Accident & Emergency Nursing will have an added advantage
(iv). Certificate in first aid training from St. Johns Ambulance, Red Cross or any other recognized Institution.
(v). Proficiency in computer applications.
