EDGE & WELL Certification – Consultant Engagement at Quantum Limited

We are delivering a 2,000 sqm woodland-based office development on a 2-acre plot in Nairobi, incorporating low impact, sustainable timber construction, passive environmental strategies, and biodiversity-led design. 
We are engaging experienced EDGE and WELL certification consultants to support delivery of certification. 

EDGE SCOPE   

The consultant shall provide full certification delivery, including but not limited to: 

• Full EDGE model development (energy, water, materials) 
• Design optimization to achieve minimum 20% savings in all categories 
• Iterative modelling aligned with design development 
• Specification guidance (lighting, water fixtures, materials) 
• Preparation of all supporting documentation 
• Upload and management of EDGE system inputs 
• Coordination with design team and contractor 
• Submission for certification 
• Full management of auditor queries 
• Support through to final certification 
• Delivery of final EDGE report and certificate 

WELL SCOPE  

• The project is being positioned as a potential first WELL-certified development in East Africa. 

The consultant shall: 

• Define an achievable WELL certification pathway aligned with project constraints 
• Identify a focused and deliverable feature set 
• Integrate WELL requirements into design and construction 
• Define documentation and submission strategy 
• Support coordination of WELL requirements within project delivery

REQUIREMENTS 

• Demonstrated experience in EDGE and/or WELL certification 
• Strong understanding of documentation and certification processes 
• Ability to work within a structured, documentation-led environment
