a) Duties and Responsibilities:
This will be the entry and training grade for plaster Technicians cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of an experienced officer: the duties will entail:-Application and removal of plaster and traction; Recording procedure carried out on patients; Counseling patients; Ordering plaster and other supplies; Assisting in planning and organizing orthopedic care.
b) Requirements for Appointment:
(ii). Plaster Technicians certificate from Kenya Medical Training College or any other recognized institution.
(iii).Be registered with Kenya Plaster Technicians Association.
(iv).Be proficient in computer applications.
