Electrician at Amiran Kenya Ltd

We are seeking to recruit focused and results driven individual to fill the following position.

The position is responsible for all electrical or electrical related jobs which consist mainly of the repair /maintenance of company assets, installation for project specific tasks/yard works.

Job Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and effect required maintenance, repairs, or replacement requirements.
• Perform maintenance, repair and installation of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits.
• Conduct insulation resistance measurements of electrical cables to determine condition and effects repairs or replacements as required.
• Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures.
• Maintain level of work performance in accordance with Industry standards and/or job order specifications.
• Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
• Performs related work as assigned by Head of department/Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Should have at least 5 years experience.
• Good analytical skills to diagnose problems and make decisions on electrical repairs.
