Systems and Erp Administrator at Mabati Rolling Mills Limited (MRM)

Job Description

MRM is seeking to recruit a suitable individual to work as a Systems & ERP Administrator reporting to the ICT Manager. This position is based in Mariakani-Near Mombasa. Main purpose of the position: To design, Implement, organize and support MRM ICT & ERP systems

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient delivery of IT services through optimal support and administration of the IT infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and analyze emerging issues regarding the ERP system, business processes & other interfacing environments
• Coordinate with ICT Support Team to implement server & desktop solutions that utilize industry best practices to meet company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to established IT policies and assist in development and maintenance of procedures, guidelines in line with the policies
• Protect data integrity through security appliance monitoring, system backups and virus mitigation
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations as and when necessary.
• Assist the procurement department in selection of IT equipment in line with required

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems from a recognized university.
• 7 to 10 year experience
• General knowledge of business processes, preferably in manufacturing industry · IT certifications such as MCSA/E, ITIL will be an added advantage
• Exposure to SAP ERP, HP Blade infrastructure & other core communication technologies
• Worked in a large, diversified IT environment for at least 3 years
• Passion for the job & excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently & manage a team
