Job Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with NEMA for factory effluent
• Assist with the inspection of the waste water line and sewer line and services Perform the installation maintenance, repair of the physical plant, and pump installations and all their components
• Assist in the performance of regular maintenance and repairs on all equipment and machinery
• Perform all work in accordance to the occupational health and safety act and regulations
• Performs and records various tests of the water
• Maintain records on chemical usage, storage and equipment operations and updating daily data reports during the shift

Qualifications

• Minimum O level education.
• Experience in a Effluent treatment plant for more than 3yrs
• Have knowledge of UF plant operations
• BE ABLE TO Perform daily checks of the waste water treatment process and periodic checks of pump station
• Have a working knowledge of the operation, methods and procedures of waste water treatment plant
• Have a working knowledge of the machinery used for waste water treatment and pumping stations
• Have thorough knowledge mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunction
• Have a working basic knowledge of machinery preventive maintenance and repair
