Job Description

Reporting to: Technical Service Manager

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Install and repair electrical Installations and plant
• Service and maintain of pumps and machinery of the Company
• Interpret drawings and diagrams to ensure correct fitting of electrical components
• Supervise work performance of field staff
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components to locate cause of breakdowns and correct problem as appropriate
• Maintain electrical equipment -generators, water pumps, and general company lighting and cabling
• Develop and Implement routine maintenance schedule
• Undertake weekly electrical audits and Inspections of all pumping stations and other company property and report to Technical Service Manager
• Carry out repairs to ensure electrical systems meet operational standard specifications
• Advise management on electrical maintenance and repairs required to be done to ensure smooth operations Inspect electrical equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustments and repairs
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Diploma In electrical engineering or approved equivalent qualifications
• Have at least (3) years relevant experience
