    Good Neighbors Kenya was established in 1995. We undertake CDPs (Community Development Projects) aimed at empowering community members for self-reliance by targeting individual children and the community as a whole. We target the vulnerable and marginalized community members both in the urban and rural parts of the country with a key focus in improving access to quality education. On the other hand, we focus on empowering the parents through Income Generation for self-reliance and in order to meet their needs for a sustainable community.

    Dairy Project Adminstration Officer

    Location: BissilOffice (Bissil, Kajiado County)

    Employment Period: 1 year renewable

    Employee Category: Fixed Term Contract  

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintains administrative staff by orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
    • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Provides supplies by identifying needs and establishing policies, procedures, and work schedules.
    • Provides communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options and maintaining equipment
    • Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
    • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
    • Improves program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.
    • Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
    • Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Office Management from a recognized institution 
    • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
    • At least 3 years working experience in a similar position.
    • Interpersonal skills including being a team player
    • Integrity and commitment to producing results
    • Proven working attitude and ability to give and take instructions
    • Ability to get on well with the diverse workforce.
