Assistant Manager Licensing and Approvals

Job Purpose

The position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Approvals Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting fit and proper assessments for key personnel of market intermediaries
• Carrying out preliminary review of applications for the issue of Debt and Equity securities such as corporate bonds
• Carrying out preliminary review of license applications
• Conducting research and preparing legal briefs and opinions
• Providing logistical support to the licensing and approvals section
• Undertake other assignments as assigned from time to time

Minimum Job Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B), Kenya School of Law student
