ELV Engineer at Prime Staff Consult

Our Client is seeking to recruit an ELV Engineer to join their Team. He/She should have Experience in the Engineering field- design, installation, operation, maintenance and integration with other systems of Fire Alarm, BMS, PA System, MATV; Knowledge in Facility Management Systems operations & Engineering best practices;
Should have good knowledge on networks, protocols, configuration, installation and integration CCTV, ACS, Car Park & X-Ray System; IP and analogue CCTV Systems; Telephony Systems, Switching and routing
Knowledgeable with the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook);
Good communications skills in English

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, cost, schedule and design advice for Access Control, CCTV and Structured Cabling Systems
• Manage, schedule and monitor the implementation of Access Control, CCTV and Structured Cabling systems
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
• Provide value engineering and constructability advice on ELV systems
• Ensure subcontractors/Casuals execute ELV work in line with relevant standards and requirements.
• Manage project documentation including shop drawings, material submittals, bill certification, measurements, as built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documentation
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic engineering
• Certifications from at least one vendor in each system listed under
• Project Management Professional – PMP will be an added advantage
• Membership in professional body
