Do you have good business acumen and creative problem solving skills to effectively identify key business opportunities, build processes to answer such questions and develop methods for measuring their effective implementation?

As an Industrial Engineer, you perform diverse assigned engineering responsibilities across multiple operational areas. You identify the need for and undertake engineering initiatives in order to support local operational goals. You provide your technical expertise and ongoing support to cross-functional project teams as required. You have experience in process design, change management and coordinating cross-functional projects. You’re not afraid to work with operational functions and get into the details to identify improvements and optimize the daily processes. You act as a subject matter expert to management in operations and planning & engineering. You communicate new plans to local management ensuring understanding and then support the implementation.

In an Industrial Engineer role your responsibilities are mainly focused on:

• Supporting the Planning & Engineering manager in conducting independent operational processes’ reviews focused on defined areas
• Identifying the need and undertaking process improvement initiatives in order to maximize efficiencies and support local operational goals
• Adapting and utilizing modelling tools to translate complex analysis into accurate and realistic productivity plans
• Communicate new plans to internal departments ensuring understanding and then support implementation
• Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed
• Supporting internal studies e.g. the implementation of new technology, facility design, functional specifications and feasibility studies

You fit on to this position if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher professional qualification in Industrial Engineering or related discipline (i.e. Statistics, Economics, Finance, Logistics, Transportation)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills with an open-minded approach
• Ability to communicate at different levels of the organization
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (MS Visio and MS Project etc.) is a plus
• Good business understanding and financial awareness
• Strong at setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitoring progress towards goals and tracking progress
• Experience in process engineering, consultancy or data analysis is a plus
