We are looking for a talented Web Developers to work with us on part time basis on specific projects.

The ideal candidates should be proficient in developing modern, beautiful, functional, fully responsive and optimized websites and related applications using a variety of programming languages.

Responsibilities

• The part time web developers’ responsibilities will include:
• Gathering requirements from clients and users.
• Editing, writing, or designing Website content.
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Creating website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Maintaining, expanding and scaling websites.
• Applying emerging technologies/industry trends into all web development operations.
• Planning and prototyping new applications.
• Designing architecture of components of applications.
• Deciding on the best technologies and languages for projects.
• Testing sites and applications in different browsers and environments.
• Fixing bugs in existing projects and general problem solving.
• Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform correctly in all cases.
• Running performance benchmarking tests.
• Building and testing Application Program Interfaces [APIs] for applications to exchange data.
• Attending meetings with clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
• Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc).
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must have a portfolio of at least 10 websites currently online.
• Bsc in computer science or another IT field.
• At least three years’ experience as a full stack web developer.
• Competence in graphic design, search engine optimization and/or social media marketing is an added advantage.
