    Study Community Health Worker, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, Gestational Hypertension and Risk of Metabolic Syndrome (METSA) Project, Department Of Obstetrics and Gynecology

    The position

    The position is based at the Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi and is tenable on one year contract, renewable on mutual agreement.

    Job description

    The primary purpose is to map household locations using smart phones GPS capabilities, prepare field reports and progress reportes for the Study Nurse and conduct participant follow-up activities and feedback sessions to ensure universal retention and other suties as directed by the principal investigator.

    Qualifications

    • Applicants must have KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
    • They must have a minimum of twwo years experience in field research activities involving facility and community based follow-up of participants.
    • They must be trained in research ethics.

    Method of Application

    NOTES
