Key Qualifications:

• CPA (K) or ACCA and registered member of ICPAK.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Computer literacy in accounting packages e.g., QuickBooks, Excel.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting.
• At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a comparable institution will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, books of accounts, and reports.
• Process payments, receipts, and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial statements in compliance with public sector accounting standards.
• Manage payroll processes and statutory deductions in line with applicable laws.
• Monitor budget implementation and prepare variance analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance with government financial regulations and audit requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and facilitate audit processes.
• Maintain proper custody of financial documents and records.
