    Accountant

    • Prepare monthly,quarterly and annual financial closing processes, including balance sheets,profit/loss statements.
    • Reconcile accounts payable & receivable, manage petty cash and ensure timely bank payments.
    • Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
    • Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and monitor expenditure against budgets.
    • Audit financial transactions, maintain updated financial records and support internal/external audit processes.
    • Maintain database backups,internal controls and reinforce confidentiality of financial data.
    • Maintain ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
    • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
    • Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of debtors and creditors.
    • Resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
    • Provide management with reports on expenses, revenues, and variances.
    • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
    • Monitor financial risks and recommend corrective measures.
    • Recommend improvements in financial systems and processes.
    • Liaise with customers on invoicing and payment issues.
    • Coordinate with suppliers on billing and reconciliation.
