    Area Loss Prevention Specialist

    Responsibilities Duties:

    • Investigates the reasons that cause the loss in the area stores for which he/she is responsible;
    • Makes regular visits to the stores in the area where he/she is responsible for and determines special actions.
    • It ensures that these actions are implemented by meeting with store managers in their meetings and monitors whether they are carried out or not. Reports to the relevant managers in case if the actions are not taken.; Performs periodic checks on loss prevention actions in the area stores where he/she is responsible for and provides feedback.
    • Makes detailed observations in cash point and warehouse areas; Implements and encourages the implementation of systems, workflows and procedures developed to prevent losses in stores.
    • Examines the audit reports regarding abuse and warehouse processes, analyzes risky articles and ensures that action is taken; Investigates suspicious cases (internal or external theft) that may cause loss, and supports these issues by examining camera images when required;
    • Completes loss prevention researches according to research procedures; Reports loss prevention activities;
    • Participates in the inventory counting organization of the critical stores and analyzes the inventory counting results of all stores;
    • Checks if all Loss Prevention tools-devices are in their places and functioning. Determines the training needs of the stores regarding loss prevention.
    • Supports the process of creating training programs and contents. Organizes and carries out trainings based on the training needs of the store.
    • Establishes relations with the public order and law enforcement officers in the area where the store is located and develops cooperation / works in cooperation.

    Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:    

    • Minimum University Degree Minimum 1-2 years of experience in loss and prevention, retail sector;
    • Ability to use MS Office programs;
    • Ability to travel both locally and internationally; Having excellent analytical thinking & problem-solving capabilities;
    • Able to manage multiple tasks & projects concurrently; Having excellent communication skills;
    • Goal and result oriented, proactive and open to innovative approaches; No restriction to travel.
