Overview:

We are seeking an experienced  Project Manager with excellent report writing skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing and delivering complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning, coordination, and communication. Exceptional writing skills are essential for preparing comprehensive project documentation including donor and technical reports, whitepaper, research and learning reports and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Portfolio management : Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business both profit and non-profit.
• Project Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This will also include Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project and chairing project meetings.
• Business development and concept development: Source for new opportunities to expand our project portfolio through client engagement , outreach and concept development
• Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with expectations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Demonstrate excellent writing skills in creating detailed project documentation, high quality reports, and proposals. The project manager will also lead the business development and concept writing process to ensure quality concepts are developed in good time.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee deliverables meet or exceed client expectation. Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
• Tools and frameworks: Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to ensure effective delivery of projects including monitoring and evaluation frameworks. 
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and implementing lessons learned for future projects.
• Project Financial and Budget reporting and  Management: Monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Staff and consultant management : Monitor staff and consultant performance and complete performance reviews and ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standard

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in project management, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Specific attending to high level donor reports , whitepapers and learning reports
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects.
• Have a solid track record of achievement - e.g. had success in a top tier company, delivered quantifiable business impact, quickly assumed responsibilities or won competitive awards
• Have a strong analytical foundation with ability to manipulate and synthesize data
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
